In professional applications, choosing the right hose comes down to one thing: matching the hose construction to the real working conditions. Pressure, temperature, type of media and environment all matter. Below are practical examples by industry, based on how hoses are used in real operations.
Agriculture & Irrigation
Agricultural applications require hoses that are flexible, with high capacity for vacuum, and remain reliable outdoors throughout the season.
For water transfer and pump connections, commonly used solutions are 008N and 011N. Their rigid PVC spiral prevents collapse under suction, while the soft PVC walls ensure easy handling in irrigation and pumping operations.
When work continues in low temperatures, superelastic versions such as 008S and 011S are preferred. They stay flexible in cold conditions and reduce the risk of stiffness or cracking.
For fertilizers, slurry, and mildly abrasive media, 010N is a proven solution. Its smooth inner surface reduces material buildup and wear, making it suitable for long-term agricultural use.
For surface irrigation and water discharge, 204N, 206N and 208N double-layer PVC layflat hoses are widely used thanks to their lightweight construction, easy installation, and compact storage.
Ventilation & Cable Protection
Ventilation applications require hoses that maintain airflow while remaining flexible and structurally stable.
For air, fume, and dust extraction, 120N and 161N are designed to keep their shape during continuous operation in industrial environments.
For mechanical protection of cables, 130N is used in construction, industry, and infrastructure projects, where durability and long-term protection are essential.
Technical & Industrial Applications
Industrial environments often involve pressure, oils, and intensive daily use.
For pressurized spraying systems, 330M, 340MB, 342MB and 380MB are selected according to required working pressure (20, 30, 40 or 50 bar). Their braided construction provides stability and safe operation under pressure.
For applications involving oils and technical fluids, 320POZ and 032N are used because they are designed to withstand contact with mineral oils without material degradation.
Construction & Dewatering
Construction sites place the highest demands on hose strength, elasticity, and resistance to abrasion.
For abrasive materials, dense liquids and heavy suction, 010SSZ is specifically designed for construction and industrial use. Its extreme elasticity and reinforced structure make it suitable for harsh environments, demanding suction conditions, and abrasive materials. The hose also maintains its flexibility at temperatures as low as -40 °C, ensuring reliable operation in very cold conditions.
For dewatering and water discharge, 216N is commonly used thanks to its higher pressure resistance and reinforced construction, making it suitable for dewatering projects and industrial water transfer.
Food & Beverage Industry
Food-grade applications require strict compliance, hygiene, and application-specific suitability.
For general food and beverage transfer, 007N, 042NP and 022NP are designed for safe contact with food products in accordance with EU regulations.
For milk and dairy processing, 501N is particularly suitable, as it is designed for handling milk and dairy products in dairies and milk processing facilities.
Where visual inspection of the product flow is required, 320N and 600N are preferred, supporting quality control and hygiene monitoring.
All food-grade hoses are Food Quality certified and comply with Regulation (EU) 10/2011 – categories A, B, C and D1, ensuring they are suitable for direct contact with food and beverages.
Beyond these examples, we offer a wide range of hose types tailored to different industries and specific customer requirements, with multiple diameter and length options available.
